Shibuya Scramble Crossing

Shibuya is famous for its scramble crossing. It is located in front of the Shibuya Station Hachikō exit and stops vehicles in all directions to allow pedestrians to inundate the entire intersection. The statue of Hachikō, a dog, between the station and the intersection, is a common meeting place and almost always crowded.

Three large TV screens mounted on nearby buildings overlook the crossing, as well as many advertising signs. The Starbucks store overlooking the crossing is also one of the busiest in the world.

Shibuya Crossing is often featured in movies and television shows which take place in Tokyo, such as Lost in Translation,[5] The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, and Resident Evil: Afterlife and Retribution, as well as on domestic and international news broadcasts.

Tokyo Tower

Elevator to the main deck located at a height of 150 meters
Or you can climb on about 600 steps. On a clear day, you can see Mt. Fuji in the distance. We recommend the view from the deck with glass feet. You can enjoy a thrilling experience overlooking the city from a height of 145 meters. The 250-meter-high top deck was refurbished in 2018, with geometric mirrors and LED lighting that give you the feeling of being in a spaceship floating above the city.

Succulent Sushi

Heiroku Sushi in the Omotesando upscale shopping district has been in business for over 35 years, and is a kaiten-sushi restaurant where you can enjoy pre-Edo style sushi in a relaxed atmosphere. Besides from the sushi going around, you can of course ask the chefs to prepare something else for you on the spot. Heiroku Sushi is a local gem as there are very few sushi-go-round restaurants in the Omotesando-Harajuku area. They also offer take-out menus starting at about 800yen, so it's definitely a spot worth checking out for anyone staying in the Omotesando-Harajuku area.

Yokohama Chinatown

Yokohama Chinatown (Yokohama Chukagai) is Japan's largest chinatown, located in central Yokohama.

Today, a large number of Chinese stores and restaurants can be found in the narrow and colorful streets of Chinatown, while the number of actual residents has been decreasing.

The main attraction of the Yokohama Chinatown, however, is the cuisine offered at its many restaurants and food stands. Popular favorites include steamed buns (manju), ramen noodles and a wide array of other Chinese dishes, many of which have been Japanized to a certain degree.

Various events and festivals are held in Yokohama Chinatown, such as Chinese New Year around the beginning of February.
